More About Today's Guest

Kearn Cherry is an Author, Business Owner, Speaker, and Caregiver Resource Expert!  She says, “When you’re working for somebody, you’re limited…There is no wealth in working for someone else.” 

Kearn was featured twice in Essence Magazine. She is co-founder and director of the Success Women's Conference – with over 1100 attendees in 2018 and keynotes such as Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts and International Motivational Speaker Lisa Nichols. She is also the host and executive producer of Unwrinkled Heart Caregivers' Journeys, a community activist with projects such as Blessed Gyrls Rock Conference and the R.I.P.E. Conference. She also sits on numerous boards: The Girls Scout State Board, Rebekah's House, Mental Health Association, Lighthouse Business & Professional Women and other organizations. And, she has received numerous awards and honors.

"My business, PRN Home Care has gone through many things including hurricane Katrina and the BP Oil Spill and with all the new competition we are still going strong.

My greatest success is probably the Success Women's Conference because it came about on the heels of having another conference I started stolen. The fact that we came up with the idea in 2015. created it and then had over 525 attendees that year was Amazing. Then last year after selling out every year previously at 650, we almost double with around 1,100 participants. 

My tv show would be next. In 2012. My producer and I were ready to launch my tv show. We even had a sponsor, but everything fell through. Never giving up. In 2017 my producer, Elaine, was able to find me a station and we are now in our third season. My kids being successful as well has given me a great sense of Success. My son, Dannan, has grown his moving company, Handy Dandy Moving, to a national level. My oldest daughter, Jasmine, will be a medical doctor and my daughter, Denise, will be a dentist. Both will graduate from UMMC this May."

Kearn Cherry resides in the state of Mississippi and co-founded PRN Home Care with her husband.
