When Opportunity Knocks, It May Come Disguised as a Pink Slip
I’m beginning to love the sound of the dreaded words “Pink Slip.” Getting a job termination notice to most people is a terrible thing. But it happens. I was called into the office about three years ago and told that my job was being eliminated. Just minutes before, I was the person responsible for an entire department and team. In a matter of minutes, everything changed. When opportunity knocked for me, it came in the form of a pink slip. Losing my job became the power that fueled my entrepreneurial passion.
I'm excited about being a featured Business Spotlight on DC NiteLife, a national news and entertainment platform. Check out the article by writer JV JONES: Spotlighting Pat B. Freeman Inspirational Business Speaker and Women’s Empowerment Coach.
Thank you, JV Jones and DC NiteLife!
I'm also grateful to Julian Brittano! This feature is a perfect example of how bridges are built and can empower you through others to “Raise the Bar.”
