Solidarity, Inspiration, and Empowerment Filled the Room

Last Tuesday evening, Jan. 16th, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Greensboro, NC, professional women came together in perfect alignment with the national launch of “Raising the Bar” TV Talk Show and the NAPW Greensboro Chapter’s theme: Fostering Success Through Collaboration. The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) also went global this month and is now the “International Association of Women” (IAW).

Actor on OWN's hit TV show Greenleaf, Julian Brittano’s vision to empower women and launch his show with a collaborative network of professional women, proved to be a match made in heaven. Kimberly Wyckoff, Sales Director at DoubleTree Greensboro and I (President of IAW Greensboro Chapter) saw this as a perfect partnership opportunity. Julian was the featured guest for the Chapter event, and everyone attending that night became his special guests. Women and men participated in this engaging talk show and enjoyed entertainment, fashion, food, and powerful connections from across the country and world! Yes, we even had a guest join us from Africa.
